Square D Circuit Breakers
✓ Authorized Siemens distributor
✓ Hard-to-find and manufacturer-specific equipment
✓ Since 1972
Installed boards keep Square D circuit breakers working decades after the building opened. Plug-on and screw-fixed styles have run through Bud Ferguson's Industrial Control & Supply Inc. since 1972. Facility crews nationwide order Square D circuit breakers from a single warehouse. Shelving built up over fifty years covers frames the factory no longer lists.

Qualities That Keep Square D Circuit Breakers Specified
Staying in production for decades is what keeps Square D circuit breakers specified on new work and old. Designs introduced generations ago still appear on drawings today. Landing on the bus lets a branch device connect without bolted joints. Fastened styles suit boards where a permanent connection matters more. Visible indication on the handle shows which unit opened after a fault. Spanning branch duty through main breakers, one catalog covers the lot. Fittings carry across several sizes inside a family, so a spare kit is rarely wasted.

Mountings and Ratings We Keep
Enclosures, interiors, and loose parts fill our Square D circuit breakers. Upstream devices join the rest of our industrial circuit breakers. QO and Homeline styles cover the load center end of the range. Post-rebrand production falls under Schneider Electric breakers instead. Bus-mounted units for I-Line boards are stocked alongside those lighter lines. Fifteen amps upward covers the branch end of what we carry. Lug kits, handle hardware, and mounting brackets are held separately. Bench-tested rebuilds cover frames the factory has dropped. Operating parts can be supplied on their own where the case is sound.
Phasing and the Stab That Has to Match
Stab position decides which phases Square D circuit breakers pick up off the bus. Rotation down a three-phase run means adjacent slots feed different legs. Board type and mounting pattern both matter to our electrical equipment supplier. Pulling a unit out of one slot does not guarantee it suits the next. Bolted boards avoid the issue, since each connection lands on a known phase. Available short circuit current still sets the minimum rating. Checking all three saves a second trip to the supply house.
Slot in the Right Branch Device
Filling a gap in a panelboard comes down to sourcing the correct Square D circuit breakers. Stampings give board type, ampere rating, pole count, and interrupting capacity. Enough usually survives on a worn handle to work from. Load center and panelboard jobs both draw on the same shelf. Restocking one position at a time is common on older sites. Parcels leave one warehouse for addresses right across the country. Capacity, pole count, and board type in hand, contact us about the branch device that slots in.
