Eaton Circuit Breakers

Authorized Siemens distributor

Hard-to-find and manufacturer-specific equipment

Since 1972

Elderly panels keep Eaton circuit breakers in demand long after a building changes hands. Casings and internals alike have moved through Bud Ferguson's Industrial Control & Supply Inc. since 1972. Engineers working in any state order Eaton circuit breakers from a single stocked warehouse. Long-standing depth in obsolete gear has been the focus for over fifty years.

Interchangeability Across the Eaton Circuit Breakers Range

Designations stayed put through decades of Eaton circuit breakers, which is why an old catalog number still resolves. Internal accessories share a common scheme across one series. Shunt trips, auxiliary switches, and undervoltage releases fit more than a single size. Branch devices through to feeder duty all belong to the same family. Consistency of that kind keeps a thirty-year-old panelboard worth repairing. Chasing a matching frame beats redesigning the section around a modern one.

Inventory Range for Eaton and Cutler-Hammer Panels

Bodies, cradles, and loose accessories make up our Eaton circuit breakers. Heavier frames fall in with the rest of our industrial circuit breakers on the same shelf. Safety switches and vacuum interrupters round out what the line covers. Bench-checked rebuilds come through our reconditioned circuit breakers when new stock runs dry. Internals such as trip units and rating plugs are carried apart from the shells. Brackets, bolts, and mounting kits ship with an order. Series C frames account for a large share of what leaves the building. Shells and working parts can be supplied separately when only one has failed. Westinghouse-badged stock falls under the same heading.

Badges That Changed While the Gear Did Not

Labels reading Cutler-Hammer or Westinghouse still identify Eaton circuit breakers in the field. Rooms holding more than one brand also draw on Siemens WL breakers. Identification works the same whichever name is stamped on the cover. Vintage Siemens sections need SB Breakers instead. Fit decides everything, whatever a nameplate happens to say. Enclosures wearing a Square D badge take Schneider Electric breakers. Crews working a mixed room save themselves a second search that way. Purchase orders cover all three manufacturers at once.

Bolt in a Breaker That Fits

Repair schedules on older lineups keep pulling Eaton circuit breakers off the shelf. Numbers off the existing unit give designation, ampere rating, and pole count. Interiors and operating mechanisms both come through our electrical equipment supplier. Faded labels are common on gear this old and rarely stop the search. Owners of older property often replace one frame at a time rather than a whole board. Crates move out of one warehouse to sites anywhere in the country. Look up the designation and ask for a quote on the Eaton unit that bolts straight in.
